[MITgcm-devel] status

Ian updated (and I checked in) seaice_growth.F to satisfy
global_ocean.cs32x15/results/output.seaice.txt exactly.

The checked-in code now breaks bit compatibility with
Ian's tests in contrib area but Ian assures me (and I hope)
in trivial ways.

Ian is shortening and adjusting his 1d experiment for inclusion
as a verification.  We'll check it in later today or tomorrow.
