Hi Dimitris,

the search page has been broken for a really long time. The problem  
appears to be (as far as my untrained eyes can see) that there is an  
issue with the alias http://mitgcm.org -> http://forge.csail.mit.edu,  
that the google-search cannot resolve properly. In my top-notch, world- 
class elite institute there is no-one who knows enough about http and  
google to give me an idea how to fix this, but maybe you complaint  
will challange someone to finally fix this. In the meantime I use this  
workaround in google:
"searchitem site:http://mitgcm.org"
which works most of the time, but for some reason not for searching  
the mailing list site:http://mitgcm.org/pipermail, which would be the  
more important thing to search. It's all very annoying and I am afraid  
that you will get questions from me very soon that might have been  
answered on the support list a long time a ago; I just cannot find  
them anymore ...
