It would be good to have the same feature added (but within the 
72 columns) also in 
verification/tutorial_global_oce_latlon/code/ptracers_forcing_surf.F

And at the same time, it would not be a bad idea to update also
verification/tutorial_global_oce_latlon/code/ptracers_forcing.F
(#ifdef ALLOW_GCHEM).
