[MITgcm-devel] two of my favorite packages: exf/cal

OK, at least the problem with not finding the forcing files is solved. It's actually a bug: I all works fine as long as you get
beyond the initial state: exf_set_gen and exf_set_uv both have the nice feature with the yearly fields and the year is
neatly appended to the file name, but exf_init_gen does not have that code and keeps looking for a file without the year
appended. can be solved by just copying or linking a forcing file to this name. The other stuff I'll look into tomorrow (when
I also will have to deal with this problem: after indulging a 54cpu machine for two year without any file quotas or other
restriction, this afternoon, the sysadmin suddenly introduce a quota, 15GB, ridiculous, without any warning or
anouncement. Now I have to figure out where I should but the remaining 300GB that I have produced over 2 years. I
seriously believe, that AWI just does not want it's employees to be productive ...).
