[MITgcm-devel] changing some diagnostics names

Hello folks,

regarding diagnostics that are filled from S/R DIAGS_OCEANIC_SURF_FLUX :

I think it would be nice to have diagnostics name where
the ocean explicitly appears (since those fluxes go to the ocean).
the reason is that we will need similar diagnostics
(tx,ty,EmPmR,Qnet,Qsw) when running an ocean+sea-ice set-up,
for the atmospheric fluxes (atmosphere / ocean+sea-ice interface).
I suggest "oce" as a suffix (since we already have EXF, SI_, SI),
and propose, for consistency, to rename few diagnostics:

oceTAUX, oceTAUY <- replace TAUX,TAUY
oceQnet (or oceQNET) new, Qnet diagnostics
oceQsw (or oceQSW) <- replace SWFLUX
oceFWflx (or oceEmPmR) new, EmPmR diagnostics
(prefer the 1rst one since melting/freezing contribution is included)
oceSflux (or SaltFlux) new, saltFlux diagnostics
(prefer the 1rst one, consistent with the others diags.)

Now, since it's a pain to change some diagnostics name, I would rather
do the changes once for all of them. I noticed also 2 diagnostics with
a confusing name:
  79 |PRESSURE| 15 |SM MR |m |Cell-Center Height
that I would rather change to the isomorphic name "RCENTER" (similar
to RSURF),
and:
  75 |TICE | 1 |SM U1 |W/m^2 |heat from melt/freeze
                                                      of sea-ice, >0 increases theta
that I found confusing since we have several Tice variables in the code
(for sea-ice temperature) and some Tice output files.
I propose instead a name like FREEZING or QFREEZE (or something else ?)
since this is non zero only when allowFreezing is true.

Waiting for your comments,

Cheers,
Jean-Michel
