Dimitris,

Thanks for making a clear summary after my obscure answer.
I agree with this plan.
In addition of point 2) I will add diagnostics for Qnet, saltFlux,
and EmPmR. I have a question/suggestion relative to diagnostics name,
but will send it separatly.
