[MITgcm-devel] question regarding mom_calc_visc.F

Baylor or Jean-Michel, did definition or usage of viscA4Grid change in any way 
from checkpoint57s_post to checkpoint57t_post?

I find that configuration MITgcm_contrib/arctic40km suddenly becomes much more 
noisy when transitioning from checkpoint57s_post to checkpoint57t_post, see 
attached figure.

pkg/seaice has been turned off in above test to remove any noise due to sea ice 
model.

P.S. Perhaps related to recent discussion about problem with noise and with ourr 
inability to run 1/8-deg configuration stably with recent code?
