Hi Chris,

I changed the monitor S/Rs (all except ptracers_monitor.F)
for a more standard way (was a little bit confusing before)
of dealing with multi threading:
basically, only the master thread can switch the flags
(hold in common block MONITOR.h) that are only used by
the master thread.

If you can have a quick look at it and tell if you see
something wrong, it would be great.
I can change later on the ptracers one (I saw that you changed
it few months ago for multi-threaded compatibility), to make it
like the other one (still not sure of what it is doing when
using MNC with different monitorFreq and PTRACERS_monitorFreq).
