Hello Ed,

I tried to download the short version of the code, using:
cvs co -P -d verif_basic MITgcm_verif_basic

but did not get anyting (was complaining about MITgcm/diags).
I would be a good thing to fix those alias and to update
the manual (since some experiments have been renamed to a tutorial).
Or if it is too difficult to maintain, then just remove them
with the part in the manual.
