there was a typo in my earlier message.  You need to load "mpt.1.12.0.0" 
not "mpt.1.12.0.nas", which is a slighlty modified version that I use 
for running across multiple Columbia hosts.  In other words, you need to 
make sure that the particular library that you load corresponds with the 
paths that are set in the particular build_option file that you use.
