[MITgcm-devel] matrix_example and testreport

Hi Samar,

I just checked in a lot of small changes so that your matrix_example
setup will work with testreport on most systems using the command:

  cd MITgcm/verification
  ./testreport -t matrix_example

So please take a look and let me know if I broke anything.
