You are right. I did not put that very nicely. I certainly did not mean to
ruffle any feathers.

Jean-Michel, when you get a chance, could you please take a look at the
various files to see if anything should be changed. Thanks very much!

Okay, I have checked in a more complete example, or at least complete
enough to carry out tests. There is a Readme that should allow you to
build and run the matrix example. Please let me know if anything is
missing.
