Hi Jean-Michel,

I think there were two separate problems introduced with the check-in
this afternoon and the check-in from just an hour ago fixed both of
them.  The verification tests are again all passing on faulks.

I've also added a few more "IF (useMNC) THEN" clauses and will do
further checks of the useMNC=.FALSE. case.
