Good idea!!!

I just checked in:

  "\documentclass[12pt]{book}"  ==> "\documentclass[10pt]{book}"

which gives us more space.  And who cares about the big vs. small fonts
in the manual?   Its almost never printed and on-screen PDF viewers all
include a zoom-to-your-liking feature.  :-)
