Hi Jean-Michel,

Yes, that is odd.

I've looked into the repository and I don't see any differences wrt the
permissions of the other files.  And I don't have that problem when I do
a fresh check out on either my laptop or "eddy" (with or without the mnc
package).  So being unable to reproduce, its tough to debug!
