O.K. 
So the code was "safe", but you just wanted to change it for 
a reason that I don't understand very well, but it doesn't matter
too much.

By the way, do you think it would be good to stop cheking-in things
until we figure out why some modification have disapeared ?
I wonder if this is not a consequence of some CVS_ROOT things
or /u/u3 ? , and worry about having to merged 2 differents
repository.
