Hi Patrick,

In:

  MITgcm_c54/verification/MED/eh3_build

I created a custom makefile and was able to get the Fortran routines to
link against the C code.  Please try the binary in that dir and let me
know if it works.  I was unable to figure out how to submit the binary
to run.  The SX-6 is an odd beast, isn't it?

If that (in eh3_build) binary works, I'll make some minor changes to
genmake2 which will fix (in a much more satisfying way) your SX-6 build
problems.
