[MITgcm-devel] Problems with diagnostics package and mnc

t should be mytime

an extra iter(T) variable could be useful, but its not essential and it 
could be confusing i.e. how often is iter(T) written out? if you do this 
i guess writing it at the default i/o frequency (chkptfreq) might be good?
