Hi Baylor,
Because of the way that the DIAGNOSTICS package is written (eg. the way
you can specify individual Z levels), I think it'll be tough to handle
the Z dim in a way that exactly matches the state files.
However, if you have DIAGNOSTICS compute and print all of the Z levels
for a particular set of diags, then I think you can use NCO rename the
"Zdxxxxx" dimension to "Z" and everything should be fine for ferret.
Or am I missing something?
