Hi Baylor,

I just checked in a few fixes to the DIAGNOSTICS package that takes care
of all the above *except* the time-as-iterations issue.  The accounting
for "real dimensional time" within the model is something that folks
(Chris? Jean-Michel?) are going to have to explain to me.

Anyway, please give it a try!
