Hi Patrick,

The problem Chris is having is that no one has installed a NetCDF
library on the altix350 thats compatible with the ifort compiler.  The
NetCDF install that I did only (as of yet!) works with g77.

I think its Chris's way of prompting me to finish the "alternate" NetCDF
C bindings.  But it'll have to wait at least a few days since I have a
looming eddy-flux deadline...
