[MITgcm-devel] notes from today: 2003-10-22

Hi folks,

Heres the "To-Do" list from today's discussion:


 1) get MITgcm_contrib from:

    - Tom Haine
    - Steph / ???


 2) FINISH (?!?) cleanups:

    - package cd_code so we can get rid of all the CPP_OPTIONS.h

    - get CPP_OPTIONS.

    - ALLOW_${Package_Name} versus USE_EXTERNAL_FORCING, etc.

    - JMC is cleaning up 

    - finish PH 


 3) add a netcdf package

    - read in data sets and interpolate (EXF has the ability to
      interpolate on the fly with bi-cubics???)

    - model should interpolate because only the model knows the coords

    - maintain a pickup system purely for the ability to read old files


 4) MUST update documentation

    - devel-HOWTO  (packages, genmake, TAF, etc.)

    - user's manual with examples
