I just changed it back (.GT.0 -> .GE.0) and ideal_ocean_2D doesn't run
without the fix.
We'll look at it tomorrow...

It was working fine before, so I don't think that the log message is right.

I think that this modification you made in checkpoint.F 
breaks the ocean_pressure restart when one use real freshwater.

I still don't undertand why you want to make "define NLFS" the 
default before sorting out 
 1) clever pickup that read .meta file (will solve this Pb)
 2) clean-up NLFS to use less memory
 3) see what the adjoint can do with "define NLFS".
