[MITgcm-devel] once more: genmake2 on SGI

Hi Ed,

there's still one problem with the build process
that leaves me puzzled.
It's about the
       CALL CLOC(wTime)
in timers.F
It should work fine on the SGI and it did in the past.
However I get a loader error

ld64: ERROR 33 : Unresolved text symbol "cloc_" -- 1st referenced by timers.o.
Use linker option -v to see when and which objects, archives and dsos are loaded.

I compare this with an old setup and don't get that error.
I think I made sure that all libraries are linked,
in particular -L/opt/mpt/1510/usr/lib64
(I double-checked the old genmake platform settings
versus my new build_options).

I copied the timers.o between the two setups
and results stay the same (fine with old setup,
problem with new).
It seems that somehow the new setup doesn't have
access to the compiler library for CLOC_ but
whereas the old one has.

I am running out of ideas as to what could go wrong.

-Patrick
