An update on this which could be of interest. With the updated code and using the KPP regularisation you suggested below, there is noticeable smoothing of the noise in the flow fields of the simulation. <span class="" style="margin:0px; font-size:12pt"><span class="" style="margin:0px; background-color:rgb(255,255,255)">I'm
