<div class=""><div class="">Hi,</div><div class=""><br data-mce-bogus="1" class=""></div><div class="">I use Windows 10 on my home PC and I'm looking to write an application in Python to automate the setup and execution of MITgcm runs. I'm not overly familar with Fortran, so I've been combing through the supported compilers listed in tools\build_options looking for ones that are supported on Windows. A few caught my attention: cygwin_ia32_g77 and the various sunos compilers. I checked on Cygwin and found the gcc-fortran compiler, though I'm not sure whether thats the one MITgcm is referring to. As for the sunos fortran compilers, it appears as though they come with Oracle Solaris Studios, although I'm not certain I can run that on Windows as I've only found installers for Linux, SPARC, and Solaris OS so far. If anybody knows more about Fortran compilers compatible with MITgcm on Windows, or if you have any advice on alternatives such as Linux virtual machine or containers compatible with Windows 10 and MITgcm, that would be much appreciated.</div><div class=""><br data-mce-bogus="1" class=""></div><div class="">Regards,</div><div class=""><br data-mce-bogus="1" class=""></div><div class="">Dominic</div></div>_______________________________________________<br class="">MITgcm-support mailing list<br class=""><a href="mailto:MITgcm-support@mitgcm.org" class="">MITgcm-support@mitgcm.org</a><br class="">https://urldefense.us/v3/__http://mailman.mitgcm.org/mailman/listinfo/mitgcm-support__;!!PvBDto6Hs4WbVuu7!dhHfsTSVl2BAq3xkMccg6yMrO2TMuymuG3S1QdguYpIFkU9DPw7q45ehMI0wUG_O3Ocjhzpp9FE$ <br class=""></div></blockquote></div><br class=""></div></body></html>
