2D variables, only the surface layer will be written, and hence the cavities masked.</p>

Hello,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>I am running with ice shelf cavities and the horizontal velocity streamfunction (PsiVEL diagnostic) is zero in the cavities (even though velocity is nonzero). I wonder if somewhere the code is masking with hFac at k=1 instead of the real land mask. But,
I've been digging through the code for a while now and can't figure out if/where this is happening. <span style="font-size:12pt">Does anybody know?</span></div>

</div>
<div>Many thanks,</div>
