Dear all,

I am using MITgcm to simulate the ocean current changes in an area, outputting it every 3 hours. In the data file, I have added topography, temperature, salinity, wind stress, flow velocity, and used forced fields(EXF). Starting from the third hour of the simulation, the direction of the ocean current showed a significant deviation from the measured data. Could it be that I haven't added boundaries yet? I'm not quite sure where the problem lies. I sincerely ask for your guidance on possible problem points.

The following are the details of the problem and the relevant data:
Attachment 1 shows the changes of ocean currents on the first day of the model.
Attachment 2 is my data file.

Looking forward to your reply.

Best regards,
Han
