[MITgcm-support] [EXTERNAL] Restart a simulation using finer spatial simulation (interpolation)

Hi Juncheng,

I wouldn't suggest restarting it with a pickup file in this case, as the
dynamic balance might be disturbed after interpolation anyway.
Therefore, you can interpolate the initial conditions and use them as
initial conditions for a "cold-start" instead.
