[MITgcm-support] Question on SHELFICE: ice accretion under ice shelf

Dear MITgcm users,

I have a question on the capability of SHELFICE package. Does the SHELFICE code have the capability to consider refreezing (ice accretion) in the ice shelf cavity or could it be modified to include that? I was looking at some paper on this (e.g., https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1029/2012JC008214) and wondering if MITgcm can model this process.
