Hi Maria,
ndiagMax is the maximum total number of available diagnostics for your setup (shown in available_diagnostics.log), which may have reached 500, even if you are only writing out the two new ones you added. You should be able to increase that number in DIAGNOSTICS_SIZE.h.
Cheers,
Malte

Dear all,
I have been trying to use the diagnostics package to output a custom-defined diagnostic. I based the custom-defined diagnostic off an example file a collaborator sent me that he said he had tested and was working. However, every time I try to start the model, I get the following error:
"*** ERROR *** DIAGNOSTICS_ADDTOLIST: Exceed Max.Number of diagnostics ndiagMax= 500"
None of my collaborators have ever received that error. I also never explicitly call DIAGNOSTICS_ADDTOLIST in the customized/modified code parts. I only defined two diagnostics in the code and the data.diagnostics file, so I don't understand how the code exceeds the maximum number of diagnostics. Does anyone on this list have any pointers what could be going wrong/how to debug this?
Thank you,
Maria Steinrueck
