[MITgcm-support] MITgcm /ideal_2D_oce/ error : cannot access existent pickup_cd files when trying to restart simulations

Hi Yanhong Lai,

I have no idea, what’s going on with your system, but sometimes it’s simpler to specify “ useSingleCpuIO = .TRUE.,” in the namelist file data &PARM01. Then you will only have file per timeslice/variable/pickup.

You have to make sure hte the correct pickup files are in your run-directory,
