[MITgcm-support] How to obtain or calculate geopotential tidal forcing?

Hi, everyone.

I try to use tidal forcing in MITgcm through turning momTidalForcing on, then I found that geopotential tidal forcing is needed,

C   >>> EXF_ALLOW_TIDES <<<
C       If defined, 2-D tidal geopotential can be read-in from files
C

But I'm not sure how to get the data, can I just download it from ERA5 or somewhere else? Or should I calculate it by myself?

Any suggestions are welcome.
