Hi Priya,
please have a look at
https://mitgcm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/outp_pkgs/outp_pkgs.html#netcdf-i-o-pkg-mnc
there are plenty of examples, how to use the mnc-pkg in the verification directory, in particular tutorial_baroclinic_gyre is described quite extensively here:
https://mitgcm.readthedocs.io/en/latest/examples/baroclinic_gyre/baroclinic_gyre.html
Here’s the list of experiments in verification that use netcdf as output.
MLAdjust/input.QGLeith/data.pkg: useMNC = .TRUE.,
MLAdjust/input.QGLthGM/data.pkg: useMNC = .TRUE.,
MLAdjust/input/data.pkg: useMNC = .TRUE.,
cheapAML_box/input/data.pkg: useMNC=.TRUE.,
fizhi-cs-aqualev20/input/data.pkg: useMNC=.TRUE.,
global_ocean.90x40x15/input_ad.bottomdrag/data.pkg: useMNC = .TRUE.,

inverted_barometer/input/data.pkg: useMNC=.TRUE.,
isomip/input.htd/data.pkg: useMNC=.TRUE.,

hope that helps,
