[MITgcm-support] BBL calculation

Hi all,

I am using the BBL package to calculate the bottom boundary layer thickness.

The bbl is added to the packages, set as true and compiled.

I also set the data.bbl as follow:

# BBL runtime parameters
 &BBL_PARM01
 bbl_wvel      = 1.D-5
 bbl_hvel      = 1.D0
 bbl_initEta   = 5.D0
 bbl_thetaFile = ' '
 bbl_saltFile  = ' '
 bbl_etaFile   = ' '
 &

I've got BBLsalt and BBLtheta correctly but the BBLeta and BBLtendT are
filled with zeros.

As the horizontal volume transport values are not zero and the initial bbl
value (bbl_initEta) is set to non zero, the bbleta should have been at
least equal to initial value! What am i missing?

 Thanks a lot for your help.

Kaveh.
