Dear friends,
I am trying to diagnose the salinity budget within a sub-ice-shelf cavity.
According to the available_diagnostics.log, the SHIfwFlx (Ice shelf fresh water flux (positive upward) kg/m^2/s) has been output to provide the fresh water flux at the ice-ocean interface. It is useful to represent the ice shelf melting rate. However, in order to diagnose the salinity budget in the sub-ice-shelf cavity, I need to know how much salinity flux dose the SHIfwFlx account for, i.e., could the SHIfwFlx in unit of kg/m^2/s be transformed into SALT flux in unit of psu?
Any comments and suggestions are appreciated!
Cheers
Chengyan
