Hi Martin,

it has worked great, thanks a lot !

One single comment : i know you meant "interp2". Plus I have changed the 
order because in your line

the lat and lon order was mixed if you read the original sequence.

Here the right command, jsut in case somebodyelse needs the same in the 
future:

newfld = reshape(interp2(lat,lon,fld,yc(:),yc(:)),size(xc));
