[MITgcm-support] Difference between MITgcm pkg "sea ice" and CCSM4 CICE

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone here has any knowledge of the differences 
between pkg sea ice in the MITgcm versus CCSM4 sea ice model (CICE?). I 
am trying to analyze why the MITgcm grows thicker sea ice than CCSM4 
under the same exact boundary conditions (LGM). I have a feeling it is 
related to how the models both parameterize sea ice growth and 
transport. Any insight would be appreciated.
