[MITgcm-support] Problem with restarts

Dear MITgcm users,

I am running an atmosphere-only simulation based on the atmospheric model
used by Ferreira et al (2010) in their coupled Double Drake model. I have
decoupled their model by removing components related to the ocean and the
coupler. This configuration runs fine when the model starts from initial
conditions (nIter0=0, in data/&PARM03).
Forcing files are correctly opened, and outputs are physically consistent.

When restarting the model from a pick, the model runs fine, but outputs are
not anymore physically consistent with the imposed SSTs. Practically, the
atmosphere is constantly stratified at each latitudes. I expect that SST
forcing are not anymore applied, but I do not manage to fix this issue. I
have tried couple of things, like turning pickupStrictlyMatch to FALSE in
data/&PARM03, but none of my solutions works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards

Quentin
