[MITgcm-support] Running the MITgcm on the new UK ARCHER supercomputer

Hi there

Is anyone else using the new UK supercomputer ARCHER (the successor to the
HECTOR machine) to run the MITgcm?

Currently I am using the two attached scripts on HECTOR for compilation by
typing *source Build_script* at the HECTOR command line.

These scripts do not work on ARCHER (this is presumably not a surprise to
those more familiar with porting codes!).

I have been in touch with HECTOR/ARCHER technical support and they are
being very helpful in trying to resolve this but I thought it would be
useful to start a dialogue here in case anyone else is using ARCHER too?

Please don't hesitate to email me with your thoughts/suggestions or just to
let me/us know that you are intending to use ARCHER so I/we can get an idea
of who to ask specific questions to in the future.

Many thanks

Jonny
