[MITgcm-support] trouble with checkout

Hi Shrikant,

I am guessing that the command that fails with this error:
> "cvs [login aborted]: connect to [mitgcm.org]:2401 failed: Connection refused"
is "cvs login", right ?

On what type of system operator / machine are you ? 
Also, might be usefull to try "cvs -t login"
which is supposed to report more informations about the proecess.
