[MITgcm-support] simulation period with MITgcm

Hi there,
 
This is Maryam Soyuf Jahromi. I am planning to simulate  mixing in Persian Gulf and compare it with another model, ELCOM. In your opinion how long should I run the model to get accurate results by MITgcm?
 
In ElCOM, 3 months was enough to get accurate real results of simulation.
