[MITgcm-support] mitgcm, condor and openmpi

Hello,
I am trying to run mitgcm on a cluster managed by condor (some output from 'more /proc/cpuinfo' is given below).
MITgcm is installed, and runs from the command line, but I am not getting anywhere with the condor 'parallel universe'.

I have tried to submit using 'condor_submit submit_MITgcm' (attached), but the job just idles indefinitely.

condor_q -analyze
...
819546.000: Request has not yet been considered by the matchmaker.

This is probably a question best answered by my sys-admin, but that has not been a productive path so far. Any scripts or workplans for running a parallel mitgcm through condor would be very useful.

thanks in advance,

Ben Ward
