Hi, I´m starting to use MITgcm in Brazil to modeling the currents in Sepetiba Bay-Rio de Janeiro. (http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=216267324693472147651.0004bc116bd8136e16306&ie=UTF8&ll=-23.010228,-43.792191&spn=0.501817,0.617294&t=h&z=11&vpsrc=6&iwloc=0004bc116f24629405b55).
I have already installed the MITgcm and the tutorials and examples are running well. I heard that this will be one of the first attempt to use MITgcm in Brazil for ocean matters. As I´m new with modeling, I will really apreciate if someone here could suggest me which tutorial can be used as a start point for this project? The study area in Sepetiba bay has 200sq.mi, and I´m planning to consider as a start point tides and wind.
Thanks for any advice,
