[MITgcm-support] 3.4 Building the code-- optfiles

Hi,
 
I am a new user of MITgcm.
 
When I tried to run the model example, the computer does not work properly, especially when I run "../../../tools/genmake2 -mods=../code". I think "optfiles" is the key of the problem, but I cannot understand the details in 3.4 of MITGCM user manual.

My operating system is windows XP, I will appreciate it if you can tell me how to solve the problem.
