[MITgcm-support] Initial theta field in tutorial (Global Ocean Simulation at 4 deg)

Hi All,

In the tutorial, tutorial_global_oce_latlon (Global Ocean Simulation at 4 deg), the initial theta field file, lev_t.bin has size 90x40x15x12. It appears that after reading the complete field - theta(90,40,15,12), the code assigns theta(:,:,:,1) to the initial theta field and the other 11 fields of theta - theta(:,:,:,2:12) are discarded. Is this correct? Also, is theta(:,:,:,1) the January theta field from Levitas database?
