[MITgcm-support] Prather Advection Scheme 80

Hi all

 

I am trying to implement the Prather advection scheme but it won't work! The
simulation seems to run to the end, but then fails to write the pickup
files. I have tested other advection schemes (eg. 7, 33, 2) which all work
fine but 80 (and 81) fail. I assume this is something to do with 80 being a
SOM scheme and that I have not correctly defined an option somewhere...? 

I have

 #define GAD_ALLOW_TS_SOM_ADV in GAD_OPTIONS.h

And 

tempAdvScheme=80 in MITbatch.sh

 

Any ideas as to what I'm missing? (I should note that I am starting a clean
run, not restarting from old data.)
