Dear all,
  I am running the model on internal wave recently, and something strange has confused me for several days. In my model configuration, at first I set cofioris parameter f0=0, and that the initial V velocity to zero. In such a case the model is running well. However, when I change either of these two parameters, (i.e., if I change f0=5e-5, or change initial V velocity to nonzero data which is from a previous run output), the model unreasonably stops at a specific iteration, for example,
(PID.TID 0000.0001) // =======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) // Begin MONITOR dynamic field statistics
(PID.TID 0000.0001) // =======================================================
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON time_tsnumber                =                   317
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON time_secondsf                =   3.9625000000000E+03
(PID.TID 0000.0001) %MON dynstat_eta_max              =   4.2644526849910E-01
(P

I'm pretty sure this is not due to model overflow, but it do stop at certain timesteps, say, 317th step in the above case.
(BTW, in my model configuration, 'nonHydrostatic' is turned on, and besides V velocity, initial nonzero U,S,T,Eta,data file are all specified.)
So could anyone tell me what is the problem with this? For me, this problem really looks illogical and has drove me mad these days. I'd really appreciate your help.
Cheers,
Dwight
