[MITgcm-support] VisIt plugin for MDS format files

Hi MITgcmers,

I'm looking for a data import plugin for VisIt (  
https://wci.llnl.gov/codes/visit/ ) that can read the MITgcm MDS  
format files-- does anyone have such a plugin? The manual says I can  
write my own but thought I'd ask here first.
