[MITgcm-support] Name of the sponge layer

Jody,

Do you have more details regrading Carter and Merrifield (2009)? I don't 
seem to find anything in 2009 by these authors.  I can only find Carter 
and Merrifield (2007), Ocean  Modeling 18, 194-209.
